The American Arbitration Association-International Centre for Dispute Resolution® (AAA-ICDR®) Foundation would like to thank India Johnson for her service as chair of the Foundation since 2022.  Under her leadership, the Foundation’s giving grew to exceed two million dollars annually, and it launched new programs, including Special Initiatives Grants and scholarships to law students studying alternative dispute resolution at Howard University School of Law and North Carolina Central University School of Law. We are grateful to India for the passion and dedication she brought to the Foundation, always advocating for doing more and making alternative dispute resolution more accessible worldwide.

Honorable Bruce Meyerson will be stepping in as the new chair of the AAA-ICDR Foundation. Bruce has been a member of the Board since the Foundation’s inception in 2015. He joined the Grants Committee in 2017 and chaired it from 2020 to 2022. Bruce brings profound knowledge of the Foundation’s grantmaking and a strong background in law, mediation, arbitration and public service. The Board is delighted to welcome Bruce as the new chair of the AAA-ICDR Foundation.

Tracey Frisch is assuming the role of executive director while continuing to serve as chair of the Grants Committee. Tracey joined the Grants Committee in 2015 and has served as its chair since 2022. She has served as secretary of the Foundation since 2018 and was elected to the Board in 2021. In addition to her work at the Foundation, Tracey serves as associate general counsel of the American Arbitration Assocation® (AAA®). Tracey has skillfully managed many responsibilities at the Foundation, and the Board is proud to announce her new role and recognize her dedication to the Foundation.

Thank you, India, for your tremendous leadership over the years, and congratulations to both Bruce and Tracey on their new roles at the AAA-ICDR Foundation. We are excited for this next chapter and eager to continue building the Foundation’s commitment to expand access to alternative dispute resolution.
